How to Farm Technology Points in Palworld 1.0 With Lyleen

Technology Points dry up fast in Palworld 1.0. Here is the renewable Lyleen loop: catch a breeding pair, hatch the eggs, and disassemble them for Innovative Technical Manuals worth two points each.

Technology Points are the one Palworld 1.0 resource that never seems to stretch far enough. Every new weapon, saddle, and station wants a handful, and the usual sources are one-and-done: catch a boss, open a chest, clear a tower, and that well runs dry.

There is a renewable fix, and it comes from a single Pal. Breed Lyleen, hatch the eggs, and disassemble the results for books that hand you Technology Points on demand. Here is the full loop, straight from HeRo Survival Guides, with the exact Pal, item, and stations you need.

Why you keep running out of Technology Points#

Most Technology Point sources in Palworld 1.0 only pay out once. Alpha bosses, dungeon chests, and Ruin Tower rewards are great early, but they do not refill. By the time you are chasing endgame schematics, you are usually a few points short of everything you want.

A breeding-based farm flips that. Instead of hunting the map for fixed rewards, you build a small station loop at base that turns time and cake into a repeatable supply. The only Pal that matters here is Lyleen, the Empress of Lilies.

Catch a Lyleen pair, normal or Noct#

You only need two Lyleen to start: one male and one female. Lyleen is an alpha-tier Pal, so bring capture gear that can actually hold it. An Exotic or Ultimate Sphere lands it comfortably, and a capture-power accessory helps; a Legendary Sphere works too, just with a lower catch rate.

Requirements

There are two forms, and both feed the same farm. The regular Lyleen appears in the daytime, while the dark Lyleen Noct is born at night in the same habitat. Grab whichever pair you can, though the Noct has one useful quirk we will get to.

You will find Lyleen in the pink, cherry-blossom Wooded Tree region in the north of the map. If it is not up when you arrive, wait for the day-night flip or hop between spawn points; the creator pulled around twenty from that biome in a single sweep.

Build the breeding and hatching loop#

With a pair in hand, the rest is base work. Drop both Lyleen into a Breeding Farm, keep them fed with cake so they lay eggs, then hatch everything and stockpile the hatchlings for disassembly.

  1. 1Catch one male and one female Lyleen

A single breeding pair is all the farm needs.

  2. 2Build a Breeding Farm and add the pair

The Breeding Farm unlocks at level 19.

  3. 3Stock a nearby box with cake

Vegetable Cake or any cake keeps the eggs coming.

  4. 4Hatch every egg in a Large Egg Incubator

The large incubator unlocks at level 48 and clears the backlog fast.

  5. 5Feed the hatched Lyleen into a Pal Disassembly Conveyor

Each Pal placed inside rolls for a manual.

Disassemble your Lyleen for Technology Manuals#

The payoff station is the Pal Disassembly Conveyor, a Technology tree unlock described in-game as a facility that automatically butchers any Pal placed inside. Drop your spare Lyleen in and it rolls for drops. The one you want is the Innovative Technical Manual, a consumable that reads "Use it to obtain Technology Points."

Use each manual straight from your inventory to bank the points. Because the book is an item and not a fixed reward, you can farm it as long as your breeding pair keeps laying.

Normal vs Dark Lyleen, and what to expect#

Here is the one real difference between the forms. A normal Lyleen sleeps at night, which pauses egg output for half of every in-game day. Lyleen Noct stays awake and keeps laying around the clock, so it produces noticeably more eggs over time.

As for yield, keep expectations grounded. In the video, HeRo pulls 12 Innovative Technical Manuals from 55 hatched eggs, which cashes out to 24 Technology Points from a single batch. It is random and the book is fairly rare per Pal, but the loop never stops, which is exactly what the one-time sources cannot offer. All numbers here are from a run on ✓ v1.0.

Your quick-start farm checklist#

Run the loop once end to end and you can leave it churning in the background while you play. Pair it with a breeding calculator if you want to line up other passive-income Pals at the same base.

  • Catch a male and female Lyleen
  • Build a Breeding Farm and add cake to a nearby box
  • Hatch the eggs in a Large Egg Incubator
  • Disassemble the hatchlings in a Pal Disassembly Conveyor
  • Use each Innovative Technical Manual for two Technology Points
