Want to make any Pal Alpha in Palworld 1.0 without hunting the same boss for hours? Put Broncherry, Broncherry Aqua, and Grintale in your party before you collect a breeding egg. Their new partner skills can convert that egg into an Alpha and can even hand you an extra copy.
That turns a normal Breeding Farm into an Alpha egg factory. You choose the species and passives through breeding, then let the three-Pal pickup party roll for the oversized result.

The exact three-Pal Alpha egg setup#
You need three different Pals. Extra copies of the same species do not stack, so this is a specific party composition rather than a five-Broncherry gimmick.
| Pal | Partner skill | Base effect | Fully condensed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Broncherry | Love's First Blossom | 35% Alpha conversion | 45% |
| Broncherry Aqua | Purity's Full Bloom | 45% Alpha conversion | 55% |
| Grintale | Glaring Cat's Eye | 50% chance for one extra egg | 75% |
The two Broncherry species contribute to the same trainer-facing Alpha egg effect. At base rank, their listed values total 80%. At maximum partner-skill rank, the values rise to 45% and 55%, reaching 100% in the current additive party-effect model. Grintale rolls for quantity, not Alpha status, so its 50% base value is a separate bonus.

Craft all three saddles first#
The partner skills require their matching Pal Gear. Craft each saddle once and it stays in your Key Items, so there is no manual saddle swap every time you visit the Breeding Farm.
- Grintale Saddle×1
- Broncherry Saddle×1
- Broncherry Aqua Saddle×1
Grintale's Saddle unlocks at Technology Level 19 and costs 10 Leather plus 10 Paldium Fragments. Broncherry's Saddle unlocks at Level 33 and costs 20 Leather, 30 Fiber, 15 Ingots, and 20 Paldium Fragments. Broncherry Aqua's Saddle becomes craftable through its Pal Gear unlock and needs 24 Leather, 36 Fiber, 20 Refined Ingots, and 24 Paldium Fragments.
What Alpha status actually improves#
Alpha is more than a size badge. The video demonstrates several ways the status can make a Pal more valuable, although the exact gain depends on the species and what you use it for.
| Upgrade | What the video demonstrates | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Larger body | The Pal uses the oversized Alpha model | Collecting and visual flex |
| Bonus health | A level 60 Alpha Anubis shows nearly 1,000 more HP than the regular comparison | Combat and raid survival |
| Faster mount | Alpha Fenglope wins the side-by-side speed test | Travel and route farming |
| Stronger partner output | Alpha Sekhmet shows a much higher displayed work-partner value in the test | Specialized base setups |
| Higher sale value | The compared Alpha sells for roughly twice the regular version | Extra gold from unwanted hatches |

The best target is therefore not automatically your strongest fighter. An Alpha movement Pal can shorten every farming route, an Alpha worker can improve a focused base job, and an Alpha copy of a carefully bred combat Pal adds survivability without throwing away its inherited traits.
How to make any breeding egg Alpha#
The conversion happens when the egg enters your inventory. That timing is the whole trick. Your breeding pair controls which Pal the egg contains, while the pickup party controls the Alpha and extra-copy rolls.
- 1Choose the Pal you want to make Alpha
Use your normal breeding pair and lock the desired species, passives, and traits first.
- 2Let the Breeding Farm produce an egg
Do not collect it with your everyday party if the three bonuses are not active.
- 3Move Broncherry, Broncherry Aqua, and Grintale into your party
All three must be present when you pick the egg up.
- 4Confirm all three saddles are crafted
Their Pal Gear unlocks the partner skills used by the pickup method.
- 5Pick up the finished egg yourself
The Alpha conversion and extra-egg effects resolve as the egg enters your inventory.
- 6Check the egg icon and quantity
An Alpha-marked egg confirms the conversion, while a second egg means Grintale also triggered.
- 7Incubate the result
The hatch keeps the species and bred traits while gaining Alpha status.
This works with breeding eggs and with Pal Eggs found in the world because the partner-skill text keys off eggs you pick up. Breeding is the powerful version because you control the result instead of accepting whatever species a wild egg contains. Use the Palworld breeding calculator to solve the parents, then switch to the pickup party only when the eggs are ready.
Where to catch Broncherry, Broncherry Aqua, and Grintale#
The cleanest three-in-one hunting route starts at Sealed Realm of the Swift, around coordinates 285, 10. Sweep the surrounding paths toward Mossanda Forest during the day, then repeat the same loop at night.
285, 10Open interactive map →
Current Palworld 1.0 spawn data makes the time split simple:
| Target | When to hunt | Nearby level range | Route note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Broncherry | Day | 48 to 54 | Common across the route cluster |
| Broncherry Aqua | Day | 51 to 55 | Rare spawn, so keep circling instead of camping one point |
| Grintale | Night | 32 to 35 | Uses the same broader cluster after dark |
Catch Broncherry and look for the rarer Broncherry Aqua while the sun is up. When night falls, repeat the circuit for Grintale. If Aqua refuses to appear, move far enough to unload the spawn group, return, and keep the loop moving. The map route is more efficient than waiting beside one spawn.
How to optimize the Alpha egg factory#
The base method already works, but four upgrades turn it from a neat trick into a repeatable production line.
- Condense Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua first. Their Alpha values climb at every partner-skill rank. Maxing both reaches the current listed 100% combined total.
- Condense Grintale next. Its extra-egg value rises from 50% to 75%, which matters enormously when the breeding target took hours to perfect.
- Build multiple Breeding Farms. One pickup party can collect every finished egg in the base, so extra pens increase output without requiring more utility Pals in the party.
- Save two party slots for movement and safety. The core uses only three slots. A fast mount and a strong escort make the catch route and base cleanup painless.
- Catch Broncherry near Sealed Realm of the Swift
- Catch the rarer Broncherry Aqua during the day
- Return at night for Grintale
- Craft all three saddles
- Put all three Pals in the party before collecting eggs
- Condense both Broncherry species for the listed 100% Alpha total
- Condense Grintale for a 75% extra-egg roll
The share-worthy part is simple: the breeding pair decides what you get, and the pickup party decides whether it becomes Alpha. Once the three saddles are crafted, the same setup can chase an Alpha version of every breedable Pal you care about.
