Unkillable Solo Carry

Updated

Cut 80% of shield damage, then stack 90% weak-point damage across five species.

This is the full solo package: one pal that soaks the incoming damage, three that turn accurate shots into the highest player damage in the game, and a fifth that pays 80% attack for the simple discipline of never running two of the same species. Silvegis cuts shield damage by up to 80% and shortens shield-regeneration delay by up to 60%, so the shield is usually back before the next hit lands. Vanwyrm Cryst and Vanwyrm both raise weak-point damage and, because they are different species, their bonuses add rather than overwrite. Cryolinx Terra then makes each weak-point hit boost the next one. The name is the reputation, not a promise: this is layered mitigation plus a large damage multiplier, and it still asks for two things in return, fully condensed pals and hitting the head.

Every slot has a job. The cards below show the exact synergy, its rank range, who it affects, and a mapped route to recruiting that pal.

Difficulty slider01
Silvegis 2 effects

Cuts shield damage by 65% to 80% and shield-regeneration delay by 30% to 60%. Your shield absorbs more and returns sooner, which is what makes the build forgiving.

TipThe short version

Condense all five to rank 5, implant Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist on every slot, eat a Mozzarina Cheeseburger before the fight, and aim for weak points. Bow for hard-mode towers, plasma rifle for raids, drone launcher out whenever you are close enough for it to connect.

Condensation scaling

Rank 1 → Rank 5

Compare every surfaced partner effect at base rank and full condensation. Effects marked Unique can still scale by rank, but a second carrier of the same species adds nothing. Two different species carrying the same effect do add together.

Passives to implant

2 core · 4 total

Passives are the half of this build that has nothing to do with which pals you own. Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist stack per pal, so five copies of each is 50% player attack and 50% player defense from party slots you were filling anyway. Implant them on all five.

Vanguard

All five slots
Rank 3 · Standard pool

10% increase in Player Attack.

The single highest-value passive in the build. It buffs you, not the pal carrying it, so it works from a party slot with the pal never leaving the sphere.

50% player attack across five carriers

How to get it

The video buys the implant from a bounty officer at Fisherman Point or the small settlement for bounty tokens, then reuses it on any pal for 50,000 gold a time. Bounty tokens come from the purple wanted markers on your map, and higher-level targets pay more.

Stronghold Strategist

All five slots
Rank 3 · Standard pool

10% increase in Player Defense.

The defensive twin of Vanguard, and the reason the build survives hard-mode tower bosses without playing carefully.

50% player defense across five carriers

How to get it

Same bounty officer, same one-time purchase, same 50,000 gold per application. Buy both on the first trip.

Reload Master

Nice to have
Rank 3 · Standard pool

Player Reload Speed +4%

Worth 4% reload speed per copy. Real, but small, and it does nothing for the bow. Fill it in after the two core passives are on every slot.

20% reload speed across five carriers

How to get it

Sold by the arena vendor for battle tickets, which you farm by running arena challenges at whatever tier you can clear.

Idiosyncratic

Nice to have
Rank 4 · Mutation

Pal and Player Auto Health Regeneration Rate +50% Defense +25% Immune to Poison Damage Immune to Burn Damage

The upgrade that eventually frees Silvegis from the party. Poison and burn immunity removes two of the nastier damage-over-time sources, and the defense is flat upside. Getting it on all five pals is a long project.

Defense and regeneration on every carrier, immunities do not need stacking

How to get it

Mutation-pool only, so it never rolls on an ordinary wild catch. Breed for it across several breeding bases, or pull the implant from the ancient relic recycler.

Gear and loadout

14 picks

Two weapons cover the whole game: a cheap bow for anything you can take your time with, and an expensive rifle for anything that moves. Each row names the endgame line and the technology level that unlocks it, and the materials listed are the first craftable tier. Schematics upgrade each line from there without changing what it is for.

Weapons

Carry both. The bow is for hard-mode tower bosses, where you get clean standing shots; the rifle is for raids, where the boss moves and you need sustained damage per second.

  • Precision weapon
    Mechanical BowTech Lv 67

Lower damage per second than the rifles, but its ammo is the cheapest in the endgame: two Soralite Ingots craft ten arrows. Its slow fire rate suits a build that wants every shot to be a weak-point hit anyway.

A bow crafted from Soralite Ingots. With greatly enhanced initial velocity and piercing power, this high-precision weapon excels at ranged combat.

  • Sustained weapon
    Plasma RifleTech Lv 78

The raid weapon. Higher damage per second and a discharge that chains between enemies, at the cost of the most expensive ammo of the three.

A rifle that releases an electrical discharge from the point of impact, which chains to multiple enemies.

  • Pre-endgame stand-in

Run this until the plasma rifle unlocks. It gives up damage but its ammo needs only Soralite Ingots and gunpowder, with no bio batteries or paloxite.

  • Off-hand
    Drone LauncherTech Lv 77

Deploys up to nine drones that attack on their own, which means free damage while you roll or reload. They stop contributing if you drift out of range, so stay close enough to the boss for them to connect.

A launcher that fires drones which perform autonomous attacks. Capable of deploying up to 9 units, enabling sustained suppression.

Accessories

Four slots, and the first two are not a choice. Attack accessories come first because Silvegis is already handling survival.

  • Attack slot 1

Attack Up Lv. 4, worth 20% attack, and it also gives your active pal 16%. The largest single attack accessory in the game.

An accessory that greatly raises your Attack, and that of the Pal fighting alongside you.

  • Attack slot 2

Attack Up Lv. 3, worth another 15% attack. There is no third attack accessory, which is why the last two slots go defensive.

Armor and movement

Armor is the one place where the answer is a rule rather than a specific item, and the glider is optional in the sense that a difficulty setting is optional.

  • Body
Highest rarity armor you own, attack roll preferred

Rarity beats everything else here. If two pieces are the same rarity, take the one that rolled attack.

  • Shield
    Highest shield you can craft

Silvegis scales off the shield, so a bigger shield pool multiplies the 80% damage cut rather than adding to it.

  • Glider
    Best glider available

You can clear the raid and hard bosses without one. What it buys is repositioning on a double tap of jump, and stamina that regenerates while airborne, which in practice means you stop running out of stamina in boss fights.

Food

Attack food and defense food do not stack: eating one replaces the other. Since this build already solves defense with Silvegis, always eat attack food.

  • Attack food

Worth 20% attack. Cheap, craftable all game, and the realistic answer for most players.

Now with cheese, this dish has reached the highest level of fine cuisine. Eating it will increase Attack by +20% and stay full longer for a period of time.

    Mozzarina Meat ×2Flour ×1Tomato ×2Milk ×2
  • Attack food, ancient tier

Worth 25% attack. That is 5% over the cheeseburger for a much harder recipe, so it is a nice-to-have and never the reason a boss survives.

A dish made by simmering vegetables and meat with spices. The rich flavor is highlighted by large chunks of tender meat. Eating it will increase your Attack by 25% for a period of time.

    Mammorest Meat ×1Onion ×2Carrot ×2Potato ×2Red Berries ×2
  • Respec

Craft one before you commit to a stat spread. It resets your status points, so a wrong allocation costs materials rather than a character.

A potion that allows the player to reset their status points when consumed. It has no effect if consumed by a Pal.

// 05

Stat point priority

Highest priority first

You can eventually max everything, so this is an ordering rather than a budget. It is skewed hard toward attack because Silvegis is already doing the defensive work that health points would otherwise buy.

  1. 1AttackFirst, and not close. The whole build multiplies attack: weak-point bonuses, Solenne, the accessories and the food all scale off it.
  2. 2HealthSecond. It is the stat that covers the mistakes shield mitigation does not, and it pairs with the 25% health on Warsect Terra's Belt.
  3. 3StaminaThird. Take it earlier if you are playing without a glider, since gliding is what makes stamina feel infinite in a boss fight.
  4. 4Weight and work speedLast. Neither does anything in a boss fight; spend into them only once attack, health and stamina are done.
// 06

How to play it

6 steps

The build is not combo-dependent, but the order below is what turns it from strong into hard to kill. Steps one and two happen before the fight starts.

  1. 1Fill the party with five different species

Solenne pays nothing if two of your pals share a species. The default lineup already satisfies this, but it is the first thing to check after any swap, including swapping in a second Vanwyrm form you already own.

  2. 2Eat attack food, not defense food

The two buffs are exclusive, so eating defense food actively removes your attack bonus. Eat the Mozzarina Cheeseburger, watch the attack number go up, and leave it there.

  3. 3Open with the drone launcher, then close the gap

Deploy drones early so they are working through your whole opener. They only deal damage while you are near the target, so treat proximity as a resource: stay close enough that rolling and reloading is still time the drones are spending.

  4. 4Aim for weak points, every shot

Vanwyrm and Vanwyrm Cryst raise weak-point damage together, and Cryolinx Terra makes each connected weak-point hit boost the next. Body shots throw away most of the build. This is the reason the slow, precise bow is competitive with a rifle.

  5. 5Let the shield do the tanking

With Silvegis condensed, shield-regeneration delay is 60% shorter, so the shield is usually back before the next hit. Roll through the attacks that would break it, and rely on the Phantom Ring's longer invincibility window rather than trying to out-range everything.

  6. 6Switch weapons by encounter, not by preference

Hard-mode tower bosses stand still long enough for the bow, and its ammo costs almost nothing. Raid bosses move more and take more punishment, which is where the plasma rifle earns its ammo bill.

What this build turns down

3 considered

Three comps get suggested constantly as upgrades to this one. Each is genuinely strong, and each gives up the thing that makes this build easy to play.

Soak and punish

The case for it
Ophydia makes your attacks inflict Soak, and Jormuntide raises damage to Soaked enemies by 50% to 65% for you and your pals. On paper that is a large multiplier on everything you hit.

It costs two party slots to buy one conditional multiplier, and the multiplier is dead until Soak is applied and stays applied. The weak-point package needs no setup and no uptime management, which is why it wins for solo play.

Electric conversion

The case for it
An Electric mount converts your attacks to Electric while you ride it, and Univolt raises Electric damage to weak points by 25% to 40%. Against Water bosses that is a type advantage on top of a weak-point bonus.

The conversion only applies while you are mounted, so the mount has to be out and alive for the build to function. If it goes down mid-fight your damage profile collapses. This build keeps every bonus in the party slot, where nothing can be killed off it.

Vanguard Charm over Warsect Terra's Belt

The case for it
The Vanguard Charm also grants Health Up Lv. 4, the same 25% health, and adds heat and cold resistance on top.

It trades the belt's 25% defense for temperature resistance, which does nothing in a boss fight. An extra 25% health rarely buys you a whole additional hit, so the belt's defense is the better use of the slot. Keep the charm for cold and hot biome travel.

Where to get everything

7 stops

Nothing here needs a rare drop or a lucky roll except Idiosyncratic. The rest is a checklist you can work through in an evening or two.

  1. Catch or breed the five palsEvery recruitment route is on the role cards above, pulled from the mapped spawn tables. All five are breedable, so a missing species is a breeding project rather than a wall.
  2. Condense all five to rank 5This is not optional. Every headline number on this page (80% shield damage cut, 80% attack, 50% and 40% weak point, 60% follow-up) is the rank 5 value. At rank 1 the same five pals give roughly half of it.
  3. Buy the implants onceThe bounty officer at Fisherman Point or the small settlement sells Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist for bounty tokens. Buy each once, then apply it to any pal for 50,000 gold. Reload Master comes from the arena vendor for battle tickets.
  4. Farm bounty tokens and battle ticketsBounty tokens drop from the purple wanted markers on your map, and higher-level targets pay more. Battle tickets come from arena challenges; if your pals are weak, target the trainer directly, because defeating them ends the match.
  5. Work the ancient relic recyclerThe recycler is the main endgame source of schematics and implants, including Idiosyncratic. Feed it the relics you pick up rather than hoarding them.
  6. Raid the time caves for accessoriesThe video puts the Phantom Ring at the start of a snowy-mountain time cave and Warsect Terra's Belt at a southern sandbar cave. Both are also craftable once you hold the schematic.
  7. Stockpile Mozzarina meat and milkCheeseburgers need Mozzarina meat, milk, flour and tomatoes. Capturing Mozzarina along the coast gives you both the milk (from a ranch) and the meat, so one farming loop feeds the whole buff.
// 09

Alternates and flex picks

4 viable swaps

Keep the build's identity while adapting the lineup to the pals you own or the encounter ahead.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do Vanwyrm and Vanwyrm Cryst really stack, when both say "does not stack"?

Yes. In Palworld 1.0 that warning means a second copy of the same species adds nothing. Two different species carrying the same effect do add together, so Vanwyrm Cryst at 50% and Vanwyrm at 40% give you 90% weak-point damage at full condensation. Running two Vanwyrm Crysts would give you 50%.

Does Relaxaurus give +60% weak point damage?

No. Relaxaurus's partner skill in 1.0 is Hungry Missile, a mounted missile launcher, and it carries no weak-point effect at any rank. The pal that gives up to 60% is Cryolinx Terra, whose Explosive Strength raises the power of your next weak-point attack after you hit one. Some guides credit this effect to Relaxaurus by mistake.

Do I have to fully condense the pals?

Yes, if you want the numbers this page quotes. Every headline figure is the rank 5 value: Silvegis goes from 65% to 80% shield damage reduction, Solenne from 30% to 80% attack, Vanwyrm Cryst from 30% to 50% weak point, Vanwyrm from 20% to 40%, and Cryolinx Terra from 30% to 60%. An uncondensed party gives roughly half the build.

Can I drop Silvegis?

Only once Idiosyncratic is on all five pals, and even then it is a downgrade in raw mitigation. Idiosyncratic supplies defense, health regeneration and immunity to poison and burn, which covers enough of the same ground to free the slot. Until then, Silvegis is the difference between a forgiving build and a careful one.

Which weapon should I use?

The Mechanical Bow for hard-mode tower bosses and the Plasma Rifle for raids. The bow does less damage per second but its arrows cost two Soralite Ingots for ten, while raid bosses move more and take more punishment than the bow can deliver in the window you get. Below the plasma rifle's tech level, use the Heavy Assault Rifle.

Can I stack attack food and defense food?

No. They are mutually exclusive: eating defense food replaces your attack buff and vice versa. Because this build already solves survivability through Silvegis and the shield, always take the attack food. The Mozzarina Cheeseburger gives 20% and the Mammorest Curry gives 25%.

Why does Solenne care what else is in my party?

Untainted Maiden only pays out while every pal in the party is a different species. This lineup satisfies that by default, but it is the first thing that breaks when you swap in a duplicate, and the buff disappears silently rather than warning you.
