Sustain and Rescue Squad

Updated

Rotate damage, bulk, healing and emergency recovery instead of betting on one carry.

This community party is built for long, messy fights. Elphidran supplies general combat pressure, Tetroise and Whalaska provide durable rotation slots, Lyleen delivers a major active heal, and Herbil acts as the emergency recovery pick. It gives up a specialized damage stack for more ways to stabilize after a mistake.

The lineup

5 core members

Every slot has a job. The cards below show the exact synergy, its rank range, who it affects, and a mapped route to recruiting that pal.

Flexible damage lead01
Elphidran Core attacker

Handles routine field time and gives the defensive members room to recover.

Selected by the Reddit author as the party’s general-purpose combat lead.
Recruitment route

Catch it in the wild. Spawns at levels 20 to 28 across 271 points on the main island.

Defensive rotation02
Tetroise Core attacker

Takes a sturdy rotation slot when the fight becomes too dangerous for the damage lead.

Durable combat slot; its surfaced Partner Skill data is base-focused.
Recruitment route

Catch it in the wild. Spawns at levels 48 to 52 across 325 points on the main island.

Bulky reserve03
Whalaska Core attacker

Adds another high-bulk body so the party can keep rotating under sustained pressure.

Chosen for staying power rather than a numerical party buff.
Recruitment route

Catch it in the wild. Spawns at levels 42 to 60 across 22 points on the main island.

Primary healer04
Lyleen Core attacker

Uses its activated Partner Skill to restore the trainer and party after meaningful damage.

Active party heal is the central sustain tool in the lineup.
Recruitment route

Catch it in the wild. Only spawns on the World Tree region.

Emergency rescue05
Herbil Core attacker

Fills the last slot with a recovery-focused safety net for failed rotations.

Community-selected rescue slot for a party built around recovery options.
Recruitment route

Catch it in the wild. Spawns at levels 1 to 50 across 269 points on the main island.

TipHow to play it

Let Elphidran handle normal pressure and rotate to Tetroise or Whalaska when the lead takes too much damage. Save Lyleen’s heal until both the trainer and multiple Pals need it, then return to the healthiest field option. Treat Herbil as the emergency reset when the regular rotation can no longer stabilize the fight.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this a fast boss-kill party?

No. It is a recovery-oriented party for players who value surviving mistakes and maintaining a rotation over maximizing a short damage window.

When should I use Lyleen’s heal?

Wait until both the trainer and multiple party members have taken meaningful damage. Using it for a small top-up wastes its long cooldown.
