How to Breed Jellroy
in Palworld 1.0
You do not need to breed Jellroy. It spawns wild from level 14 in the main region, which is faster than any breeding route. Breed it only for passives, gender, or mutation odds.

Easiest parent pairs
Any one of these pairs produces a Jellroy egg directly, no intermediate steps.
The Cake requirement
Every breeding attempt at a Breeding Farm consumes one Cake from the chest attached to it. Keep a stack on hand before you start a route this long. Running dry partway through a chain is the most common reason a breeding project stalls.
Passive inheritance
Passives can pass from a parent to its offspring during breeding, and which ones make it through is partly random. The odds are well understood from community reverse engineering of Palworld 1.0: a child directly inherits 1 to 4 passives from the parents pool (40/30/20/10 percent for exactly 1/2/3/4), then 0 to 3 random passives can be added on top (40/30/20/10 percent for 0/1/2/3). The Breeding Calculator now turns those constants into per-egg odds and an expected egg count for the exact passives you are hunting.
